Bike Collection Garnacha Marselan - Biologisch
ABOUT THE WINE"If you like an explosively fruity wine, then stop looking: you will love our Garnacha Marselan. A powerful bouquet of violets and other meadow flowers, a taste of cherries, blackberries and blueberries. Slightly chilled even better!" Derrick Neleman

Both the garnacha and the marselan grape grow on our vineyards in the region of Valencia, 700 meters above sea level. The combination of these two grape varieties (60% garnacha and 40% marselan) creates a powerful and fruity red wine with delicious aromas of violets and cherries on the nose. A fantastic wine for a drink or delicious with cold cuts or light pasta.

The wine has a pronounced fruity scent with black currant and cassis and a little bit of forest soil. Powerful taste with spices, salmiak, cherry liqueur and a subtle bitterness. That little sweetness, that little bitterness and the herbs in the wine go well with the slightly greasy and spicy pâté. Delicious pâté, juicy wine, optimal combination.
GO TO THE RECIPE
The grapes we use for the Garnacha Marselan are picked at night. We do this because nighttime harvesting has several positive effects on the grapes. Our winemaker Diego explains: “The cooler temperatures at night ensure that the aromas do not evaporate between picking the grape and making the wine. This ensures that the wine has more aroma".
