"The local grape of Valencia. A powerful and sun-braised red wine from very old vines (60–80 years). Yield decreases, quality improves. Dark red fruit and beautiful oak aromas of leather and cigars. With a dark intense color, through the thick skin of the bobal. Can be stored for 6-8 years. " Derrick Neleman

Our local hero. This wine is a true local from Valencia: wonderfully powerful red with a full, aromatic nose of lots of red fruit, some eucalyptus and mint. In taste, Neleman Bobal is thick, round and full of wood-ripened black currant, blackberry and many leather notes. This wine tastes great when it is slightly chilled, to about 16 degrees (15-20 minutes in the fridge). This way you accentuate the freshness, taste even more fruit and the wine comes into its own. Neleman Bobal combines excellently with powerful dishes such as duck, but also with stewed, spicy dishes. Now ready to drink, but can certainly last for a while, can be stored for a maximum of 6 to 8 years.

What could be better than the right wine & food combination? We figured it out for you! A delicious combination of different flavors, the sweetness of honey, the sharpness of the onions and the spicy taste of sage that really comes into its own here. Enjoy!
